The project involved extensive trenching and underground conduit installation beneath Pittwater Road to move the existing overhead electrical assets underground. Working closely with Ausgrid, DM Electrical coordinated network outages, approvals, asset relocations, and commissioning to move from overhead to underground supply cleanly.
Three existing power poles were removed and all associated Ausgrid network assets were relocated underground. The works also included transferring and reconnecting several neighbouring properties previously supplied by the overhead network, giving them new underground connections and improving both network reliability and the streetscape.
