DM Electrical does the network work most contractors can't touch. Level 1 covers the grid side: direct network connections, substations, and the civil works that go with them. Level 2 covers everything from the network to your switchboard: service fuses, consumer mains, metering and service and switchboard upgrades. Both run 24/7 for emergency faults.

One crew carries the whole job, from trenching and cable hauling through to testing, sign-off and energisation. No handballing between contractors, no waiting in the network queue.

DM Electrical is run by Daniel McCormick out of 230 Harbord Rd, Brookvale. Twelve field crew and three in the office: Level 1 and Level 2 accredited providers, project managers, qualified tradespeople and plant operators with more than 30 years combined on live network environments.

500+ Level 1 & 2 ASP jobs delivered across the Ausgrid and Endeavour networks for builders, councils and asset owners, including Sydney Trains and Westfield centres. We own our own fleet of trucks, EWPs, excavators and crane trucks, so we self-perform end to end instead of waiting on subcontractors.

From our Brookvale base we cover the Northern Beaches and wider Sydney, from Manly and Dee Why through to the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, and CBD.

What areas does DM Electrical cover?

What is a Level 2 ASP, and do I need one?

A Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) is licensed to work on the parts of the network most electricians cannot touch: the service connection between the street and your property, metering, consumer mains, and private poles. You need a Level 2 ASP for new connections, supply upgrades, disconnections and reconnections, and meter installs. DM Electrical holds both Level 1 and Level 2 ASP accreditation with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy.

Do you install EV chargers?

Yes. DM Electrical installs home and business EV chargers across the Northern Beaches, single-phase, three-phase, and multi-bay, including any switchboard or consumer mains upgrade the charger needs. As a Level 2 ASP we handle supply upgrades in-house rather than referring you to a second contractor.

Can you upgrade or replace a switchboard?

Yes. Switchboard upgrades are routine work for DM Electrical, whether you are adding an EV charger, replacing an old ceramic-fuse board, fixing nuisance tripping, or bringing a board up to current safety standards with RCD protection. We assess the existing board and supply, then quote a fixed price before starting.

Is DM Electrical licensed and insured?

Yes. DM Electrical holds NSW Electrical Contractor Licence 463912C, Level 1 ASP (Scheme 6697) and Level 2 ASP (Scheme 5922) accreditation, and carries $20M public and products liability insurance along with professional indemnity and workers compensation. The business is owned and operated by licensed electrician Daniel McCormick (ABN 69 643 435 358).
